Voluntary Benefits – WoodmenLife@Work

Small Business Benefits Solutions

One of the toughest challenges you face as a small business owner is attracting quality employees and keeping them. Unless they’re given a competitive package of voluntary insurance and retirement benefits in the workplace, they might leave.

You need WoodmenLife@Work.

Expand Your Coverage

WoodmenLife@Work offers a simple way to make life insurance and annuities available to your employees at little or no cost to your small business. These are voluntary products, which means the employees pay the premiums.

This access allows employees to plan for their own futures, freeing you to focus on the day-to-day aspects of actually running your business.

Benefits for You

  • No cost to you
  • Attract and keep top talent
  • Easy to maintain
  • Inspire employee loyalty
  • Employees pay all premiums
  • You can participate, too
  • A financially strong, community-oriented company behind you

Benefits for Your Employees

  • Easy payment via payroll deduction
  • Products they already want and need
  • Convenience of purchasing through the workplace
  • Portability – Employees own the product(s)
  • Access to a variety of customer benefits just for doing business with us.

According to Voluntary Benefits magazine, fewer than 2% of all employer-paid group term life insurance plans will provide a cash benefit to a beneficiary, so a portable life insurance plan from WoodmenLife@Work can be a great addition to your existing group term plan.

How it Works

Your employees purchase individual insurance or annuity products from WoodmenLife (purchase is voluntary).

You deduct the insurance premiums and/or annuity contributions from their paychecks.

You then forward the premiums to WoodmenLife. It’s as simple as that.

Your professional WoodmenLife Representative will provide service after the sale, and can add employees as needed.

Employee Retention Made Easy

Give your employees the opportunity to protect themselves and their families by making one or more of these WoodmenLife products available in your workplace:

  • Life Insurance
  • Annuities

WoodmenLife has partnered with other insurance companies, through our subsidiary, Woodmen Insurance Agency, to offer a variety of products issued by other insurers, such as:

  • Major Medical
  • Disability Insurance
  • Long Term Care Insurance
  • Supplemental Insurance

When you help your employees with the groundwork of selecting the various plan options through WoodmenLife@Work, you all win.
