You can use the Flex Spending Account to pay for your eligible out-of-pocket expenses on a pre-tax basis. Eligible expenses can include deductibles, coinsurance, copays, prescription drugs, and items related to medical, dental and vision care expenses. With a Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account the expenses are limited to dental and vision care for those enrolled in the Select HSA Plan.

Use It or Lose It
Carefully budget the amount of money you will need in your FSA. Any funds set aside in your FSA that are not used by the end of the year will be forfeited. You will have until March 31 to claim eligible expenses incurred in the prior year.
